PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
I joined Merrill Lynch in 2011 so that I could exercise two of my strongest skills: Critical Thinking and Problem Solving. I am confident in my ability to look at a situation and find sensible and effective ways to customize a strategy.
It gives me great satisfaction to help people in achieving their financial goals that they have worked so hard for. Simply put, I like being an advisor because I love to work with money and find the science of investing energizing and fascinating. I am sincerely committed and make it a personal point to be actively engaged and accessible throughout the entire relationship.
I believe in strategic investing and having a sense of each financial goal and client. My strategy is based on Modern Portfolio Theory (MPT) and behavioral finance research. First, I determine each client's risk tolerance and investment personality through quantitative measures. Next, working with the client, we identify the factors affecting each financial goal such as time horizon, risk-reward trade-offs, risk mitigation, liquidity needs and other factors important to the client. I am willing to take the time to ensure each client is comfortable with this part of the process. I am happy to provide collaboration and discussion with new and beginner investors to help manage their wealth as well as assist experienced investors with accessing the investment resources of Merrill Lynch, such as derivatives and alternative investments (some or all alternative investments may not be suitable for certain investors).
I graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a B.S. in Systems Engineering and served as a Surface Warfare Officer for six years in the United States Navy. I've noticed my military and engineering experiences helped me develop unique strategies for solving complex problems thru collaboration with people from various backgrounds and personalities.
My wife Colleen and I live in Narberth, PA and love being a part of the borough and surrounding communities.

Nick has successfully completed the requirements through the College for Financial Planning to become a CHARTERED RETIREMENT PLANNING COUNSELOR SM designee(CRPC®). He also holds the Merrill Lynch Certified Special Needs Advisor (CSNA) designation, which is an internal Merrill Lynch self-study curriculum based on a variety of wealth management topics and a course exam.
