Charles Lipson is a Senior Vice President - Investments and a PIA Portfolio Manager for The Lynnvest Group. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch he was Managing Director and founding partner of the M. D. Hirsch Division of Freedom Capital Management Corporation. From February 1991 to December 1994, Mr. Lipson served as President of the M. D. Hirsch Division of Republic Asset Management. Prior to Republic Asset Management, he was a Senior Vice President for Home Capital Services, Inc., the investment adviser subsidiary of Ambase Corporation, managing $7 billion. While at Home Capital, he also held the positions of President and CEO of HCS Brokerage Services, Inc., the Distributor of the Home Group Funds with assets of $1.0 billion.
Michael Hirsch is a Vice President - Investments and Senior Portfolio Manager for The Lynnvest Group. Prior to Merrill Lynch, he was Chairman and founding partner of the M. D. Hirsch Division of Freedom Capital Management Corporation after serving as Chairman of the M. D. Hirsch Division of Republic Asset Management Corporation. He served as Chief Investment Officer of Republic National Bank from 1981 until 1991. Michael authored two books on the subject; "Multifund Investing" published by Dow Jones-Irwin and "The Mutual Fund Wealth Builder" published by Harper Business. Mr. Hirsch is a member of the Association for Investment and Research, the New York Society of Security Analysts, the International Association for Financial Planning, and the Economic Club of New York.
Marc is a Financial Advisor for the Lynnvest Group. He is dedicated to helping his clients achieve their goals. By leveraging his experience, Marc helps clients manage the unique challenges that come with wealth, aligning the full spectrum of Merrill Lynch’s resources with the personal attention of an exclusive boutique. Whether a client’s objectives include turning investment risk into opportunity, growing a business, furthering worthy causes through charitable giving or planning a family legacy, he brings a sophisticated approach to wealth management, offering unique solutions that are as ambitious—and personal—as each investor’s vision.
Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Marc was a practicing attorney in California, specializing in Labor and Employment law with the firm Ballard Rosenberg Golper & Savitt L.L.P. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Tufts University where he received his B.A. in Political Science. Marc received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Southern California Law Center in Los Angeles. While attending USC Law, Marc clerked for the Honorable Barry Russell, Chief Bankruptcy Court Judge for the Ninth Circuit.
Marc is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor as well as a registered representative holding both the Series 7 and 66 designations. Additionally, he holds insurances licenses for life, health and annuities.
