Jay Anderson is a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch and serves as the Resident Director of the Viera Branch office. He spends his days helping individuals and businesses make good financial decisions. Jay is an Alabama native but believes Brevard County, Florida is paradise. He has a BS from Jacksonville State University and his MBA from Auburn University.

Jay began his career in the computer industry as a sales representative. He was promoted to the home office to start a new product line and became a consumer goods manufacturing specialist. In 1996, he decided to leave the computer industry to follow his passion and entered the financial services business. He joined Merrill Lynch so he could focus on providing an unbiased financial planning business that is client centric. Drawing on his experience and Merrill Lynch's global resources, Jay helps people navigate change of circumstance. He develops personalized, strategic solutions to address the needs of individuals and businesses.

Jay is very active in his community. He has spent many hours giving and serving those in need. Jay has lead the volunteer effort for building a Habitat for Humanity home, serves as a “Bell Ringer” for the Salvation Army during the Christmas season, and coaches youth football. Has also has held offier positions on many community based organizations' boards. He resides in Melbourne, Florida, where he enjoys fishing and participating in all the activities of his children.
