We specialize in retirees. We help clients develop personalized investment and retirement income strategies with a goal of achieving a comfortable retirement lifestyle. In addition, we advise our clients on elder care issues, tax and estate planning, and wealth preservation and transfer strategies.

Our Team
Matt Moreman - Resident Director, Financial Advisor, CFP®, CIMA®, ChFC®, CFM, CRPC®
Matt not only serves as a partner of the team, he also manages The Villages office for Merrill Lynch. A graduate of Villanova University with a degree in Electrical Engineering, he joined Merrill Lynch in 2005. He received his Certified Financial Manager designation shortly after joining Merrill Lynch. Since then, he earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation with the help of his studies at the University of Central Florida. He also obtained the Chartered Financial Consultant designation from The American College and the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation from the College of Financial Planning in 2006. Matt received his Certified Investment Management Analyst designation awarded through The Wharton School of Business in 2010.

Steve Saylor - Vice President, Wealth Management Advisor, CFP®, CFM
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Steve joined Merrill Lynch in 1998. He attained the Certified Financial Manager designation in 2000, and in 2004 earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.

Jim Heaton - Vice President, Wealth Management Advisor, CFP®, CIMA®, CFM
A graduate of The University of Florida, Jim joined Merrill Lynch in 1982. In 1985 he earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. He is a long time holder of the Certified Financial Manager designation. Jim also received his Certified Investment Management Analyst designation awarded through The Wharton School of Business in 2003.

Kathryn Law - Senior Registered Client Associate
Kathi joined our team in 2007 with 25 years experience in Investment and Brokerage services. She is available for client service requests and helps the team to prepare portfolio reviews. She is the first point of contact for all client needs.

Sally Sherman - Client Associate
Sally joined our team in 2007 with 6 years experience in Investment and Brokerage services. She is the point of contact for all referrals and prospective clients and is available to help with questions, information requests, or any other service needs.
