The Gilbert Group has combined best in class investment advisory and banking (Merrill Lynch, Bank of America and US Trust) with a team that has the experience to deliver these products and services to the client in a timely and efficient manner.

Paul Gilbert is the team leader, a Senior Vice President, Wealth Management Advisor and has 42 years of industry experience. Paul received his Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Masters Degree in Public Administration from The University of Southern California. Paul also earned a Doctorate of Jurisprudence and is a member of the California State Bar.

Peter Smaldino CFP,CRPC is a First Vice President, Wealth Management Advisor and has 12 years of industry experience. Peter earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from The University of Southern California.

Greg Fry joined the Gilbert Group as Investment Associate in April of 2010. Greg’s focus is to leverage the lending platform of Merrill Lynch in order to provide superior liabilities management to our high net worth, commercial, and private equity clients. During the previous nine years, Greg was a Director at the Citi Private Bank providing structured credit solutions to high net worth clients and their affiliates. Greg has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Arizona State University and an M.B.A. from California State University Fullerton.

Susan Gorsky is a Financial Advisor assisting companies with developing strategies and processes, specific to their retirement programs. She is an active member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP)and The American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA). She has been in the financial services inndustry for over 30 years. Susan is a University of Illinois graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Small Group Communications and Organizational Psychology.

Andrea Vining is a Financial Advisor who has 17 years of industry experience. She is a board member for the San Gabriel Educational Foundation (SEF) and is actively involved in her community. Andrea focuses on helping families with investments, college savings, retirement plans and lending needs. She is also passionate about assisting those who are in transitional phases of their lives and who may need extra assistance or guidance. Andrea earned a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from University of California, Santa Cruz and is currently working towards becoming a Certified Financial Planner.

Jennifer Adams is a Senior Associate who has worked with the Gilbert Group for 16 years, assisting with portfolio management. Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Arts – Dual Major in Economics/Accounting and Literature from Claremont McKenna College.

Margaret Chen is a Registered Associate who joined the Gilbert Group in 2009 as the lead contact for administrative issues. Margaret earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Science from University of California, San Diego.
