Creating wealth management strategies is at the core of our family practice. Through our extensive upfront planning process, we identify opportunities to pursue your financial success and gain comfort. With a thorough understanding of the client’s current financial standing and concerns, we develop an investment plan that serves as our guidebook. This plan aids in the development of an investment policy statement that guides asset allocation implementation and investment parameters. This upfront planning ensures that the proper risk controls will be in place to minimize surprises. We facilitate long-range planning, investment strategy and management, and lending and banking services for our individual/family clients.

Utilizing the resources and expertise of Merrill Lynch, our ability to create value for businesses is wide-ranging. Our business services include investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, corporate financing, pension consulting and retirement planning.

Thomas F. Grantham – First Vice President –Investments, CFM
Tom joined Merrill Lynch in 1979, when he came to Madison as the Resident Manager, a position he held until 1997. Graduating from the University of Wisconsin—Madison with a B.A. in Business, Tom was a member of the 1959-60 Rose Bowl Team. After graduation, he achieved the rank of Captain in the U.S. Marine Corp. Tom attended graduate school at UW—Madison, and also lectured in the School of Business Securities Markets Course. He is on the Advisory Board for the UW Children’s Hospital and is Chairman and Founder of the Crazylegs Classic, an 8k run/walk event that has raised over $4 million for the UW Athletic Department. He also served as President of the Board for the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, on the Board of Directors of the Madison Club, and previously for the Madison Chamber of Commerce and the Wisconsin Association of Securities Dealers. Tom is the senior member of the Grantham/Heinrichs Group.

Terry J. Heinrichs –Vice President – Wealth Management Advisor, CFP®, CIMA®
Terry joined Merrill Lynch in 1994, after earning an M.S. in Finance from the University of Wisconsin—Madison and a B.A. in Finance from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. Terry is a graduate of Leadership Greater Madison Class 5 and is a member of the Downtown Madison Rotary, where he chairs the Budget and Finance Committee and serves on the Personnel Committee and the Rotary Foundation Investment Committee. He also serves on the Wisconsin Public Television Board and the Our Lady Queen of Peace Finance Council. Recreationally, Terry serves on the Board of the Hill Farm Swim Club. Professionally, Terry helps clients focus on investment policy development, wealth planning, and cash flow and portfolio management. Terry is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™certificant, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.

Ryan E. Behling – Financial Advisor, CFP®, CRPC®
Ryan joined Merrill Lynch in 2005, after graduating from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a double major in Economics and German. He is currently pursuing a Master's in Business Administration from the Wisconsin School of Business at the University of Wisconsin. Ryan serves on the United Way of Dane County Board of Directors and Rosenberry Advisory Council, the DAIS Board of Trustess, the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Clinic Emerging Leadership Board and chairs the Merrill Lynch Grand Gala, which has raised over $1.6 million for the Madison community. Ryan is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM (CFP®) certificant as awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. and has earned his Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor SM (CRPC®) certification, offered by the College for Financial Planning.

Regina Doyle McGinn – Senior Associate
Gina has worked for Merrill Lynch since 1988 and has worked in the financial services industry for over 25 years. Gina leads the services practice for the Grantham/Heinrichs Group, assisting clients with daily transactions, account enrollment and maintenance, and all other client support issues. She is a registered Client Associate with her Series 7, 63 and 66 licenses and she graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. She is a Madison native and Edgewood High School graduate.
