PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Doug Brewer is a Financial Advisor and the Resident Director of the Reno office of Merrill Lynch. As a Financial Advisor, Doug helps clients manage their personal and business finances.

On the business side, he has worked with clients to establish owner/employee retirement plans, cash management strategies, and meet their borrowing needs.

On the personal finance side, he focuses on retirement planning and estate planning services. Regarding retirement planning, he has worked with clients to establish goals and develop a strategy to meet those goals.

Regarding providing estate planning services, he has worked with clients and their advisors in developing their estate plan to meet their legacy goals.

Doug has a BS degree in chemical engineering and a MBA, and is a Certified Financial Planner certificant, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. He has worked in the financial industry for over 15 years, lives in Reno with his wife and two sons, is an active supporter of local youth music programs, and is on the Board of Directors for the Northern Nevada HIV/AIDS clinic.
