Blain Potter is a veteran Wealth Management Advisor in the Morristown, Tennessee Merrill Lynch Office. He holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) and Certified Special Needs Advisor (CSNA) designations and is a Personal Investment Advisory (PIA) Portfolio Manager.

Blain and his team focus on achieving excellence, whether it be in relationship development, investment management, planning, or client service. They always place the clients needs and wishes first in the relationship.

With new clients, the team actively focuses on learning all that they can about the person or business so that a personalized, tailored plan can be developed.

Areas of professional experience and competence include: professional asset management, estate planning, special needs planning, retirement income planning, corporate asset management to include retirement plan management, lending services for individuals and corporations, and insurance services.

Blain joined Merrill Lynch in Lexington, Kentucky originally in 1986. He rejoined Merrill Lynch in 2005 to open the Morristown office and is the local Associate Resident Director (ARD).

He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Major in Finance. Blain is married to Lindy and they have two children, Caroline and Andy. He is active in First United Methodist Church and currently serves as past Chairman of the Morristown Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
