PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Anna Sielawko is a Financial Advisor, CFM and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) with Merrill Lynch in Hartford, CT. Anna has a Master of Science in Management and Finance from the Rensselear Polytechnic Institute and B.S. Degree in Engineering from the University of Hartford.
Anna began her professional career as an engineer with ABB Combustion Engineering. She worked at ABB for 17 years in various project management and engineering positions that included Nuclear Power Plants, Nuclear Submarines, Titan Rockets and Space Shuttle Vehicle.

Her successful wealth management strategies and personal investments in stocks and bonds permitted her to achieve a life long dream of traveling the world. In 1989, she left her position at ABB Combustion and traveled extensively for the next eight years through Africa, Asia, South America and Europe.

Having fulfilled her personal dream, Anna made a career change to help others in planning and achieving their financial goals. In 1997, she joined Merrill Lynch in its Global Wealth Management Group where her focus is on forming long term relationships and helping clients with all aspects of their financial lives.
Anna advises clients on wealth accumulation, preservation and transfer through the creation of individually customized wealth management strategies.

Anna knows the accumulation and preservation of wealth present different challenges and opportunities to each of the clients with whom she works. Each family and business owner has unique financial circumstances requiring individualized attention. She works closely with clients and other trusted advisors, including attorneys and accountants, to address her clients’ tax, trust, philanthropic and estate issues – including wealth transfer strategies.

In 2002, Anna received from the Connecticut General Assembly Immigrant of the Year award for outstanding achievements, leadership and commitment to the Polish Community and Connecticut. Anna continues to be active in the community. She is a member of the Rotary International & the Chamber of Commerce. She serves on the Advisory Board of the Polish American Studies Program at Central Connecticut State University (CCSU), which promotes interest & exchange of Polish Programs. She is also on the Board of Trustees of the Polish American Foundation and Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra.
