Brooks Arnold, Senior Vice President - Investments

Brooks joined the Palm Beach office of Merrill Lynch in 1976. He and his wife, Kim, moved to Athens in 1981. A graduate of Emory University, Brooks focuses on providing financial and wealth management services with an emphasis on individual securities, long term investment strategies and value added client services.

Benjamin R. Roberts, III, Vice President

Benjamin joined the Merrill Lynch office in 1983. Ben concentrates on developing and monitoring asset allocation models, alternative investments and overall portfolio strategies including the selection of portfolio managers. A graduate of the University of Georgia, he has an MBA in Finance

J. Gary Hudson, Senior Vice President - Investments

Gary, a Wealth Management Advisor, joined Merrill Lynch in 1993 and has been Resident Director of the Athens office since 2002. A graduate of Valdosta State University, Gary is a Certified Financial Planner™ certificant, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. Gary focuses on wealth management and the financial strategies that it entails. This includes Insurance, Lending & Estate Planning.

Ted Schaefer, Registered Senior Client Associate

Ted re-joined Merrill Lynch in 2006 after 3 years spent in the field of education. Ted concentrates on servicing retirement plans and participants, organizing personal lending solutions and working with the team to implement personalized wealth management strategies for our clients. A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Ted and his wife Molly live in Athens.

Jodi joined Merrill Lynch in 1992. She has been working in the financial services industry since 1986 and is fully registered with the SEC and NASD. Jodi brings with her an unsurpassed level of dedication as she deals directly with clients in account structuring, loan applications, lines of credit, service features, and lending issues.
