PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
Marion Schloemer is a Vice President and Wealth Management Advisor who joined Merrill Lynch in 1998 in the Freehold office. She returned to Red Bank in 2010 after completing two years as the Resident Director of the downtown Princeton office.
Marion provides highly personalized wealth management services to affluent individuals and families, as well as to small businesses, non-profits and corporations.
By adhering to a planning-based approach, Marion specializes in working with clients and their tax and legal advisors in a collaborative manner, providing a more comprehensive and consolidated wealth management plan.
Developing strategies for asset and liability management, tax minimization, income and asset protection, and generational transfers to help clients achieve their goals of creating, growing and preserving wealth has allowed Marion to build long term relationships with her clients.
Marion was one of the first advisors within Global Private Client to receive the David Brady Award in 2007, an honor given to Financial Advisors who have provided exemplary service and advice to their clients. Most recently, she was invited to attend the annual Barron's Top Women Advisors Summit in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
Marion graduated from Brown University and is a Certified Financial Planner™ certificant, as well as earning the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ certification, designations awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. She is also a graduate fo the Securities Industry Institute at Wharton and has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Marion lives in Monmouth County with her husband, Ed, and serves as a Trustee on the Centrastate Healthcare System Board in Freehold. She is also a member of the Collier Services Foundation Board, a school located in Wickatunk, NJ dedicated to providing care and guidance to disadvantaged high school students in Monmouth and Ocean counties. Marion enjoys fishing, golf, cycling and gourmet cooking.
Yon Siciliano, Senior Registered Client Associate, is a integral member of the team. She has been with the firm since 1995 and recently joined the Red Bank office through the Bank of America and Merrill Lynch merger in December 2009. Yon provides administrative support for day to day issues regarding client accounts and services. Yon maintains dedication and passion for exceeding the expectations of clients and earns client loyalty through superior service, accuracy and responsiveness. Yon is a dedicated mother, an avid runner and resides with her husband and family in Neptune, NJ.
