Our Team
John Holst joined Merrill Lynch in 2006 as a Financial Advisor. After graduating New York Institute of Technology, in Westbury, with a BS in electrical engineering, John spent eight years designing communications equipment for the military and transit industries. Some of that equipment is still providing automatic announcements on the Long Island Rail Road and New York City Subways. From 1994 through 2005 he serviced high-tech companies as the representative for several leading semiconductor manufactures. John utilizes the problem solving skills of an engineer and the resources of Merrill Lynch to help clients develop in-depth retirement strategies that emphasize both wealth creation and its consequent distribution.
Lori Gergel joined Merrill Lynch in 2004 after graduating from Berkeley College, in midtown Manhattan, with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Management. She has also earned her Series 7 and Series 66 licenses. Lori focuses on all areas of client service and assists new clients transitioning to Merrill Lynch; her attention to detail and timeliness in response to clients needs has received accolades of praise from both management and clients.
